Preventive Maintenance

Find wear before it becomes an unplanned stop.

Preventive maintenance gives your team a repeatable way to inspect equipment, complete scheduled tasks, and decide what needs attention next. Bayvarn builds the visit around the equipment, operating hours, environment, and available shutdown window.

Establish the equipment baseline

The first review records equipment identity, condition, available manuals, current maintenance practices, and known recurring faults. We identify missing documentation and overdue work separately. The resulting maintenance scope states which assets and tasks are included.

Typical visit activities

  • Inspect accessible cables, hoses, sensors, fasteners, and protective assemblies.
  • Check conveyor tracking, transfers, drive condition, and accumulation behavior where included.
  • Complete specified cleaning and lubrication tasks using the applicable equipment instructions.
  • Review available fault history and recurring operator reports.
  • Confirm that the agreed program and configuration backups are present.
  • Record findings that require repair, further testing, or a customer decision.

Report what needs attention

Each finding identifies the affected asset, observation, recommended action, and suggested timing. The report distinguishes work completed during the visit from work proposed for later. Customers can group nonurgent repairs into the next planned shutdown instead of treating every observation as a separate callout.

Set a useful interval

Inspection frequency is agreed from usage, equipment instructions, environment, and observed wear. A dusty packaging line may need a different schedule from a lightly used demonstration cell. We review the interval when the operating pattern changes or inspections show repeated deterioration.

Keep the plan current

Added equipment, new products, revised shifts, and controls changes can affect the maintenance scope. Bayvarn reviews those changes with the customer rather than assuming the original schedule remains suitable. Bayvarn ServiceCare plans provide a standing arrangement for customers who want planned visits and periodic review.
